The 1998 murder of Alphonse Gangitano ignited a bloody decade that would become known as the Melbourne Mafia War. Charlie Bezzina was one of the homicide detectives assigned to the case, and he joins us to talk through the ups and downs of the investigation. We also hear from Tim Watson Munro, the clinical psychologist who developed a strong therapeutic relationship with the volatile gangster.
